Angela Todorović is a PhD student at the CIRCLE Group, co-supervised by Francesco Leofante and Tolga Birdal. Prior to joining Imperial, she obtained an MSc in Data and Artificial Intelligence from École Polytechnique, Institut Polytechnique de Paris and a BSc in Computer Science. Before starting her PhD, she held research positions at McGill University, EPFL, KAUST, Inria, and Télécom Paris, working across theoretical machine learning, computer vision and graph neural networks. She has also worked in software engineering and advisory roles in industries spanning healthcare, defence and telecommunications.
Her research focuses on geometric and topological deep learning and explainable AI, aiming to develop mathematically grounded explanation methods for graph and simplicial neural networks.
