Navami Kairanda is an incoming PDRA. Previously, she was an intern at the Smart Geometry Processing Group at UCL, and a Ph.D. student in the Visual Computing and AI department and 4DQV group at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics and Saarland University, Germany, advised by Prof. Christian Theobalt and Dr. Vladislav Golyanik.
She builds physics-informed AI methods that combine the elegance of physical laws and the power of machine learning for solving problems in visual computing and physics. She solves both forward and inverse problems such as simulation, and 3D reconstruction and tracking.
